Introduction

Color coding is the key on this dressing vest! Many children have difficulty sequencing buttons in the correct order for proper fastening. The DressyVesty is the solution as the buttons on this Vest are color coded to the button hole so that children know exactly where the buttons fit in sequence. Practice makes perfect and with reversible sides featuring two button sizes, the DressyVesty makes a great tool for home, school or clinic.

 Product Use

Slide the Vest over the child's head. Elastic sides allow for easy stretch. Here are some ideas to keep in mind when working with Dressy Vesty:

Practice unfastening before fastening.

Begin with larger buttons before smaller ones.

Reinforce color skills while practicing unfastening and fastening. Have the child verbalize the color and/or match an object or card with the same color as each button.

Modifications:

Learning to practice dressing skills on the body provides the proper spatial orientation, but the Vest can also be laid flat on a table or lap for training.
