This Gift is Eternal Life in a Glorious Heaven.

It is difficult for men to accept the thought of this being a free gift. Man wants to earn everlasting life.

The Holy Bible says: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).

The Bible says: ...the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).

A gift is not something we earn or work for. We receive gifts out of love. In fact, Grace means unmerited, or unearned favor.

If we work for something it is not a gift, but a wage. There is only one spiritual wage a person can obtain...

The only wages we receive from God is HELL!

For the wages of sin is death... (Romans 6:23.)

 

 JESUS IS THE DOOR

I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved... (John 10:9)

JESUS IS THE WAY

I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6).

JESUS IS THE ONLY DOORWAY TO HEAVEN

My friend, let me ask you a most important question. Are you trying to enter Heaven some other way? If you are, Jesus said you are a thief and a robber: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth some other way, the same is a thief and a robber (John 10:1).

Religion is not the way!
The preacher or priest is not the way!
Water baptism is not the way!
Church membership is not the way!
Being a good person is not the way!
Having good works is not the way!

JESUS IS THE ONLY DOORWAY TO HEAVEN

Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

...sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death (James 1:15).

In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Thessalonians 1:8).

Receiving wages should be an idea we replace with receiving the gift. Look at Romans 6:23 in its complete form: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We earn death in Hell, but God gives us Heaven through Jesus Christ!

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8)

 

 

 HOW CAN YOU BE SAVED?

The Bible calls for ...REPENTANCE TOWARD GOD... (Acts 20:21). Repentance is a change of heart which causes you to turn from your way of life toward God, accepting the Bible facts that you are a guilty sinner before Him, and that you are unable to deliver yourself from the punishment of hell, due you because of your sin.

The Bible also calls for ...FAITH TOWARD OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST (Acts 20:21). Faith is putting complete trust in Jesus Christ as your only means of clearing your guilt and delivering your soul from the punishment of hell.

The Lord Jesus Christ paid for this gift with his own dear shed blood on the cross.
...the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin (1 John 1:7).
